Application Tips

Real Mink Lashes

If you’re looking for a more natural eyelash look and longer-lasting lash extensions, mink lashes would be your go-to. Mink lashes are made to match the texture of your real lashes. Mink lashes give you a fluffy and soft feel, and the extensions tend to last longer because they’re very lightweight and you’re able to apply the mink lashes directly to your natural lashes. With the proper care of your mink lash extensions, they will last 15+ uses.

Step 1 - Remove the Lashes

Step 1

Very important, Mink Lashes can be very delicate during this step. use tweezers to grab inner corner of lash band. Gently peel slowly from tray. Never grab lashes and try to pull. Nothing is worse than damaging lashes before you get to wear them.

Step 2 Measure Your Lashes

Step 2

Most likely you will need to trim the lashes to fit your eyes. If they are too long they will irritate your eyes and look strange.

Step 3 Trim the Lashes

Step 3

Using tiny beauty scissors, trim the inside of the lash. You don’t want to cut off the longest part on tapered styles. Cut into the lash band but be careful to only cut the band and not the lash. Take tiny sections at a time and measure against your eye. Take note on how many sections you cut off so you can cut the same amount on the other lash.

Step 4 Apply lash adhesive

Step 4

Brush lash adhesive onto the back, flat part of the band. Your lashes will last longer if you use a brush on adhesive and careful not to drip onto the actual lashes.

Step 5 Place lash on lashline

Step 5

Set lash on top of natural lashes and move to correct placement before pressing the lashes to lash line. You may do this by holding ends gently and looking in the mirror. A common mistake is placing lashes above the lashline and creating a double lash appearance.

Step 6 Bond the Lashes

Step 6

Once you have the lashes where you want them, it’s time to bond. Start with the middle of your lashes. Where the bulk of your natural lashes are. Press your natural and false lashes together. You can do this with lash tools or your fingers, whichever feels most comfortable. Work the lashes into your lash line pressing and adjusting as needed. Next do the inner and outer corners

Step 7 Blend the lashes

Step 7

Blending your natural lashes with your falsies is important. use tweezers to gently adjust and blend. You may also want to push the lashes upward to create lift.

Remember - check the corners

Extra care tips

Don’t forget these lashes are meant to be used multiple times. Apply your mascara to your natural lashes before applying the Posse lashes. This will keep you mink lashes lasting longer. Also, clean the adhesive off after each use by peeling the glue off the band or using glue remover. Store them in your box for safe keeping and travel.
